Credit Portfolio Analyst

Credit Portfolio Analyst# Credit Portfolio Analyst Amarr, a part of global opening solutions leader ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a credit analyst in Winston Salem, NC to analyze credit data to determine risk involved in extending credit to customers, and when necessary, contacting customers by telephone to ensure collection.

* Essential Functions:

*** Collect account balances according to customer’s terms.
* Analyze applications and credit information to establish credit lines.
* Update and monitor credit information daily in the computer system.
* Monitor accounts for possible status change due to poor payment history and non-sufficient funds activity.
* Pursue clients to collect funds due as a result of returned checks (NSF, stop payments, etc.).
* Research accounts to explain unapplied cash, partial balances, etc.
* Code weekly past due list.
* Communicate vital pattern change information to the field regarding unusual customer activity.
** Qualifications and Requirements of Job:
*** Associate’s degree in Business **–or
- ** experience equivalent.
* Two years of collections experience.
* Business aptitude and the ability to analyze financial statements.
* Mathematical aptitude.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
** The Details:
** Our hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:30am - 5:30pm and Fridays 7:30am – 11:30am. We offer a competitive salary based on experience. We are a casual work environment and we understand the value of work-life balance.
