Middle Market Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Managers in evaluating the creditworthiness of borrowers.
• Analyze financial statements and prepare detailed credit write-ups and recommendations for loan decisions.
• Monitor and review existing loan relationships for performance and compliance.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis of commercial loan applicants.
• Assess credit risk and identify key financial, operational, and industry factors affecting repayment ability.
• Collaborate with Bankers, PMs, and Credit Officers to support credit decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in credit analysis, banking, or financial services preferred.
• Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and cash flow analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial analysis software.

Demonstrates expertise in credit analysis and financial evaluation, with a strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis. Capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to support informed credit decisions.
