Job Title

Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Responsible for assessing business, technology, and process changes to identify and mitigate risks related to Know Your Customer (KYC), operational processes, and potential customer harm. This role executes risk-based pre-implementation testing and validation activities to ensure new products, system enhancements, and process changes function as intended and comply with applicable policies and risk standards.

The position partners closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC), and Risk Management teams to validate customer outcomes, identify defects, assess downstream impacts, and provide credible challenge throughout the development and implementation lifecycle. The role focuses on ensuring customer-facing and KYC-related changes are implemented correctly before release and that identified issues are appropriately escalated and remediated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute independent pre-implementation testing and post-implementation validation activities for system enhancements, new products, and regulatory changes
  • Develop and perform risk-based test scenarios focused on customer outcomes, KYC requirements, data integrity, and regulatory compliance
  • Review business requirements, user stories, process flows, and technical documentation to identify testing needs and potential risks
  • Validate end to end, customer-facing, and banker-facing functionality to ensure alignment with business requirements and policy expectations
  • Document testing results and clearly communicate observations, risks, and defects to partners and leadership.
  • Track issues through resolution and verify corrective actions.
  • Escalate identified risks, control weaknesses, and material testing concerns when appropriate.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
  • Intermediate understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
  • Basic knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
  • Experience performing UAT, pre-production testing, post-production validation, or control testing
  • Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
  • Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and correct potentials risks from unclear or incomplete requirements
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than three years of applicable experience

- Intermediate understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
