This position contributes to developing core competencies in the areas of Financial Management, Planning & Analysis, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution. The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of our team by supporting financial processes and providing visibility to results, trends, & KPI’s in addition to owning and helping to shape strategic decisions.
This position requires proactivity and a strategic approach to ensure the ability to multitask with a high degree of analytical proficiency and integrity. This position requires good foundational knowledge and experience in business and a firm understanding of both financial and service concepts, with the ability to work with a wide range of business partners as their finance partner and resource.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in preparation of annual budgets, cash flows and valuation projections for the corporate business plan.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, evaluating performance against financial budgets and business plans.
- Assist with weekly bank reporting requirements.
- Partner across business functions to identify risks, efficiencies, cost savings, and improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions to support budget performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and compliance, and present recommendations to executives.
- Leverage systems to create/update in-depth corporate reporting on key components of the Company’s financial statements, including metrics that drive the business forward.
- Work closely with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement in business operations processes to support strategy execution.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCEMinimum 2-4 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis required.
COMPUTER SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers, including Internet, e‑mail, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) abilities.
