- Support senior team members and management in all aspects of warehouse finance transaction origination, underwriting, and execution
- Manage the lifecycle of financing transactions, including onboarding, funding operations, waterfalls, reporting, etc.
- Work closely with team members to ensure proper maintenance of the transaction and market information database
- Prepare various internal memoranda including credit memos and management reports
- Prepare routine and ad hoc data analysis and reporting
- Review and comprehend real estate loan documentation
- Review and analyze financial statements and perform credit analyses
- Perform market analysis and related research
- Participate in transaction due diligence calls and meetings, as appropriate
- Review and participate in providing comments on basic lending facility legal documents
- Assist in preparing cashflow analysis and modeling related to the collateral
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier school, ideally in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in investment banking, structured finance, corporate finance, consulting, or real estate with a strong track record of high performance.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to communicate complicated and technical points clearly
- High energy, results-oriented, dependable individual who will enjoy the challenge of a rapidly evolving global organization.
- Understanding of real estate, economics, and market trends.
- Prior exposure to real estate or asset-based lending a plus.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SQL a plus.
- The candidate must be highly motivated and work with minimal supervision but also work well with teams.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to meet the demands and deadlines that are a part of this position. Attention to detail is a must.
