Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position, offering the chance to be part of an exciting, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the company's success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
They will also be responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.
- Manage all accounting transactions and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare budget forecasts and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
- Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure compliance with the law.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Manage all aspects of payroll, including processing, distribution, report generation, and record-keeping.
- Conduct regular ledger procedures and support the implementation of new accounting policies.
- Use Quickbooks and Excel to streamline accounting functions and operations.
- Provide insight on cash flow patterns, budgeting, investment priorities, and policy matters.
- Collaborate with financial team and executives to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
- Proficiency with Quick Books, Excel, and other financial management software.
- Experience with payroll processing and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and experience creating financial reports and conducting cost analyses.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
