Your responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

Lead the day-to-day execution of client coverage initiatives and live opportunities; coordinate deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communication.

Direct and quality-control financial models and analyses; perform complex modeling and scenario analyses as needed; articulate key drivers, risks, and recommendations to senior bankers and clients.

Own diligence workflows and content readiness: ensure models, pitch materials, client updates, and prospecting materials are accurate, current, and aligned to strategy.

Partner with product teams (DCM/ECM and others) to craft integrated financing and advisory solutions; support origination with idea generation and sector insights.

Prepare and lead portions of client meetings and calls; respond to detailed analytical and credit questions with clarity.

Mentor, coach, and oversee Analysts and Associates/CAP participants; provide structured feedback and contribute to staffing and performance inputs.

Drive continuous improvement in templates, processes, and knowledge management to enhance efficiency and quality across the platform.

Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, confidentiality, and information barrier requirements across all work streams.

Other duties:
Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team's and the company's mission.

Minimum requirements:

Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.

4 - 5 years of total experience in Banking, Investment Banking, M&A, or Capital Markets (including prior Associate-level responsibilities).

Strong credit underwriting and corporate banking skills.

Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and presentation development.

Excellent presentation and client communication skills (written and oral).

Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required within Fifth Third guidelines.

Coach and develop junior talent; set quality standards and foster a collaborative culture.

Operational excellence:
Improve templates, processes, and data integrity to enhance consistency and efficiency.

Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses in accordance with company policy.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a higher degree of proficiency (typically from 4 - 5 years of practical experience or advanced academic exposure) across the following areas:
