As a Core Operations Tax Manager, you will lead the team responsible for tax reporting, compliance, and distribution planning across Capital Group's investment vehicles. You will oversee complex tax analyses and reporting, advise on the tax treatment of securities and transactions, and partner with Operations, Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and external providers to ensure compliance and operational excellence. You'll also help drive strategic initiatives that improve scalability, controls, and the client experience.
Please note, this role does require you to work in our Charlotte office, four days a week, Monday-Thursday.

- 10+ years of tax experience within investment management, financial services, or public accounting.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise in tax reporting, compliance, distribution planning, and the tax treatment of securities, transactions, and corporate actions.
- Strong partnership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives, process improvements, and organizational change.
- Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $136,749-$218,798
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
