About the Role This position sits at the intersection of investing, strategy consulting, and portfolio value creation. Team members develop proprietary industry theses, identify investment opportunities, conduct market and commercial diligence, and partner with portfolio companies on growth initiatives. The role offers significant exposure to both deal execution and post-close value creation, with meaningful opportunities for long-term advancement within the investment platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop research-driven investment theses around attractive market segments and emerging industry trends
- Conduct market mapping exercises to identify potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities
- Build industry expertise across multiple sectors and end markets
- Support proprietary sourcing initiatives alongside the investment team
- Lead market and commercial diligence efforts for prospective investments
- Analyze competitive landscapes, customer dynamics, industry structure, and growth drivers
- Evaluate market attractiveness and strategic positioning of potential targets
- Present findings and recommendations to senior investment professionals
- Partner with portfolio company leadership teams to develop growth strategies
- Support strategic, commercial, operational, technology, and innovation-focused initiatives
- Identify opportunities for organic and inorganic growth
- Assist boards and management teams with strategic planning and execution
Qualifications- 2-5 years of experience in Big 3 management consulting
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience synthesizing complex market and competitive information into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in understanding industries, markets, and business models
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
