Join an established financial services organization supporting institutional securities and capital markets operations. This team plays an important role in maintaining accurate, timely post-trade processing while partnering closely with front-office, middle-office, operations, custodians, brokers, and counter parties. The environment requires precision, responsiveness, and strong ownership, particularly when resolving trade discrepancies and settlement issues.

- Hybrid opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina
- Opportunity to gain broader exposure to securities operations, trade lifecycle processes, financial products, and institutional market infrastructure.
- Work cross-functionally with trading, middle-office, operations, and external market participants.
- Six-month contract assignment supporting an established capital markets organization.
- Validate and process securities transactions across applicable financial products and internal systems.
- Monitor trade confirmations, allocations, and settlement activity to ensure transactions are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Investigate trade breaks, unmatched transactions, discrepancies, and failed settlements and coordinate their resolution.
- Perform reconciliations involving internal records, custodians, brokers, and counter parties.
- Partner with front-office, middle-office, and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues throughout the post-trade lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and provide supporting information for audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to operational process improvements and enhancements to systems supporting trade processing.
- Bring approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience in trade operations, settlements, securities operations, or middle-office functions.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and post-trade processing, including confirmation, allocation, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management.
- Possess working knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, or other securities products.
- Have experience investigating and resolving trade breaks, failed settlements, and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Experience with market infrastructure or financial platforms such as DTCC, Bloomberg, or SWIFT is strongly valued.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial operations systems.
- Bring strong attention to detail, organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Work effectively across front-office, middle-office, operations, counter parties, brokers, and custodians.
