Summary of the Role:

The entry-level Retirement Plan Consultant is responsible for supporting retirement plan consulting, client service, investment reporting, and plan administration activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in retirement plan advisory, investments, and financial services. Working closely with Senior Advisors, the Junior Retirement Plan Advisor will help support client relationships, retirement plan operations, investment analysis, and plan transition projects while developing technical expertise and industry knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Senior Advisors to support ongoing client relationships and day-to-day service needs.
  • Assist in responding to client inquiries and coordinating follow-up actions.
  • Participate in client meetings and support the preparation of meeting materials and presentations.
  • Develop the ability to effectively communicate retirement plan concepts and industry best practices to clients.
  • Support investment monitoring activities and reporting processes.
  • Help ensure accuracy and consistency of client reporting deliverables.
  • Develop technical knowledge of retirement plan administration, operations, investments, pricing structures, and regulatory considerations.
  • Support conversion and implementation projects for new and transitioning retirement plans.
  • Coordinate project-related activities, timelines, and documentation to ensure successful plan transitions.
  • Maintain accurate records of client, investment, and plan information.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
  • Strong interest in retirement plans, investments, financial services, or wealth management.
  • Comfortable working with databases, reporting tools, and technology platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and commitment to professional development.
Education and/or

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 – $60,000.

The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
