Churchill Summer Internship: Tax

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Review of annual tax work papers prepared by external Big 4 vendors Support the team with the collection and organization of financial and tax data used in tax reporting; including the logging of underlying tax reporting from portfolio companies Assist with the preparation and review of tax compliance reporting (Schedule K-1) for private funds Review of carried interest calculations Reviewing annual tax filings including Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120‑RIC Reviewing annual state/local filings for multiple jurisdictions Perform reconciliations between accounting records and tax work papers to ensure accurate investor reporting Assist with internal and external requests related to investor tax reporting Ad hoc tax requests from Investor Relations and Operations teams

Preferred candidate will be a rising Senior (Class of 2028) or rising Junior (Class of 2029) expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Strong attention to detail; careful review of facts and figures, quick to identify errors, ensure consistency of information Superior Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, effective and strong active listening skills Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results driven team environment Innovative and creative thinker;

In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
