My client is a leading independent global investment bank with a strong middle-market franchise, advising entrepreneurs, private equity investors, and public companies on mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions. Their Charlotte and NYC
-based Technology-Enabled and Business Services team has a strong track record of advising high-growth businesses on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of live transactions, my client is seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to join its Technology-Enabled and Business Services team in either location. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile M&A transactions, take on significant client responsibility, and contribute to the continued growth of a highly successful investment banking platform.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory transactions.
- Build and review complex financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations.
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, buyers, investors, and external advisers.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Mentor and oversee Analysts and Associates, ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to new business origination.
- 4–8+ years of investment banking experience with a strong M&A execution background.
- Experience advising technology, technology-enabled services, or business services companies is preferred.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
