LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Credit Quality Analyst at our top tier banking client in Charlotte, NC.
DescriptionIn-Office Position:
Training 5 days a week in office
- Normal business hours 8am-5pm. Discuss hybrid schedule once fully trained.
- Commercial Credit
- Wholesale Credit
- Fulfillment Booking/Funding experience (nonresidential)
- Reading credit agreements
- LIQ/ Loan IQ experience
- Reviewing credit agreements to determine pricing, contract terms, requirements, etc.
- Entering data into LIQ the system of record
- Work with deal teams collecting documents, answering questions, getting confirmation on requirements, prepare for the engagement.
- Occasionally it can require interactions with an Agent Bank but not client.
This position supports the loan booking and closing activities in the Loan IQ system of record on behalf of the Syndicated & Corporate Lending Credit Fulfillment Team.
Required Skills- LoanIQ Expertise:
Proficiency in LoanIQ software or similar loan management systems. - Degree or experience in banking and/or finance.
- Attention to Detail:
The ability to meticulously review and verify loan documents for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. - Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including attorneys, clients, and other departments. - Organization:
Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize a high volume of loan closings efficiently. - Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in loan documentation. - Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with loan management software and related tools commonly used in the financial industry. - Time Management:
Effective time management to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely loan closings. - Customer Service:
Providing excellent service to clients and addressing their queries or concerns. - Team
Collaboration:
The capacity to work well in a team, as loan closers often collaborate with underwriters, legal teams, and other departments. - Risk Management:
Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation within the context of corporate lending. - Analytical
Skills:
Strong analytical abilities for evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and other financial documents. - Adaptability:
Flexibility to handle changing priorities and evolving lending regulations. - Integrity and Confidentiality:
Maintaining the highest standards of integrity and respecting the confidentiality of sensitive financial information. - Data Analysis:
Analytical skills for evaluating financial data and reports. - Regulatory Updates:
Staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes related to lending practices. - Independence:
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently.
- Loan Syndication Knowledge:
Understanding of syndicated lending processes and best practices. - Loan Documentation Expertise:
Knowledge of loan documentation requirements, including familiarity with syndicated and corporate lending agreements.
Credit Analysis:
Ability to assess the creditworthiness of corporate clients.
