The North Carolina Department of Revenue is recruiting for an ePayment Processing Specialist to work in our Submissions Processing Division (SPD). This is a hybrid position with hours of operation being 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The primary purpose of this position is to handle the day-to-day operations of the Electronic Payments Unit (ePay). This includes daily balancing of all bank accounts, completing daily processing of incoming files such as EFT Credit and Debit files, Core Banking and Vendor Garnishment.

Entering enrollments for ACH Credit and Debit (EFT 100C and D forms). Keying exceptions payments such as reversals, card chargebacks, NOCs (Notice of Changes) and ACH returns. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers through answering phones and email service accounts.

/Management Preferences

Good word processing skills, experience with Microsoft Office products, and the ability to learn and utilize a variety of other processing systems

Ability to research, problem solve, analyze, and interpret data accurately

Ability to reconcile multiple reports against multiple bank accounts

Good keying and typing skills at speeds of 40 WPM and 7,000 KPH with 98% accuracy and experience using a calculator

Advanced attention to detail and good customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally over the telephone with external and internal contacts

Recruitment Range

$39,244.00 - S42,000.00
