Job Overview – Financial Analyst – 34439
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join a growing four-person FP&A team that works closely with the CFO and senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–4 years of FP&A experience who wants to broaden their skill set, take on increasing responsibility, and grow into a Senior Financial Analyst role over the next 1–2 years.

Compensation: $85k - $95k DOE

The role will initially focus on financial reporting, variance analysis, and supporting monthly board reporting, with the opportunity to take on greater ownership of forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and business analysis over time.

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget vs. actual results and variance analysis.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly board reporting packages.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Support financial statement analysis and reporting.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to understand business performance and the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Support capital allocation reporting and other strategic FP&A initiatives.
  • Develop and improve reporting processes, tools, and models to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Take on increasing ownership of FP&A responsibilities as you develop within the role.
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong foundation in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large amounts of financial data.
  • Ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems and technology.
  • Experience with Power BI and/or basic SQL.
  • Experience with a CPM/EPM platform s
  • Experience using AI tools
