- Build sophisticated financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, business decisions, and performance improvement.
- Prepare Board and private equity sponsor materials, including executive-level presentations and reporting packages.
- Support exit preparation, including financial reporting, KPI development, diligence materials, and management presentations.
- Support the company's continued M&A and acquisition integration activities, including financial reporting and KPI integration.
- Lead or support finance systems implementations and initiatives to improve reporting, automation, and data quality.
- Partner with operating leadership to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and drive initiatives that improve revenue, margins, EBITDA, and cash flow.
Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, FP&A, corporate finance, or a combination thereof.
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills with strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Experience building financial models, dashboards, management reporting, and executive presentations.
- Experience in a services-oriented business strongly preferred; utility services, infrastructure, construction, industrial, or field services experience is a plus.
- Experience in a PE-backed or highly acquisitive environment preferred.
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to be hands-on.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior executives and operating leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
- Must be based in Charlotte, NC, with willingness to travel occasionally.
Opportunity Highlights
- Join a nearly $1 billion revenue utility services platform at a significant stage of growth.
- Work directly with the CFO and senior leadership team.
- Build and shape the finance organization and infrastructure.
- Significant exposure to PE, M&A, Board reporting, and exit preparation.
- Play a key role in integrating and scaling a platform that has completed approximately 15 acquisitions.
