Accounting Analyst

Road Warrior Parts & Service is a platform investing in regional heavy-duty truck aftermarket parts distributors and repair shops. Road Warrior is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. This is an early-career role designed for someone with 1-3 years of experience who wants broad exposure across the finance and accounting function and direct access to senior leadership in a dynamic, growing business. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines while helping build the finance function of a growing business.

• Assist with day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities, including vendor setup, invoice coding, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Support the financial integration process for acquisitions.
• Prepare and post recurring journal entries across multiple entities.
• Perform credit card and cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
• Manage recurring state and local tax filings and remittances.
• Help build and improve Road Warrior's finance processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure.

• Assist with the monthly close process, ensuring entries are posted accurately and on schedule.
• Help prepare internal management reports, dashboards, and scorecards for leadership review.
• Support commission tracking and sales performance reporting on a recurring basis.

• Assist with quarterly analyses including bad debt, inventory reserves, and other balance sheet reviews.
• Prepare and compile financial materials for board meetings and senior leadership presentations.
• Support annual compliance tasks including 1099 preparation and state and local tax filings.

• Maintain organized, accurate financial documentation to support external audit requests throughout the year.
• Investigate discrepancies and open items and drive them to timely resolution.
• Help improve and streamline recurring finance processes as the team and business grow.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
• 1-3 years of work experience in corporate finance or public accounting (we are open to both tax and audit)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, shortcuts, basic modeling).
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles (debits/credits, accrual basis, reconciliations).
• Curiosity about AI and automation, with an interest in using new tools to improve finance processes and productivity.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work product.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Exposure to Net Suite, Ramp, or similar ERP/expense management platforms is a strong plus.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
