As a Transaction Advisory Analyst, you will serve as a trusted advisor to private equity firms and corporate clients, providing employee benefits due diligence, risk assessments, and strategic guidance to support private equity due diligence efforts for acquisitions and portfolio companies. Through your analysis of benefits programs, compliance requirements, and workforce-related risks, you will deliver insights and recommendations that support informed business decisions.

This will be an on-site position with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week + 2 days remote) once training is complete.

• Perform employee benefits due diligence for private equity clients undergoing mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, evaluating health and welfare plans, executive benefits, leave policies, and voluntary benefits offerings.
• Identify potential liabilities, compliance concerns, contractual obligations, and benefits-related risks that may impact transaction outcomes, future operations, or workforce strategy.
• Analyze benefits plan costs, contribution strategies, utilization trends, vendor arrangements, and historical performance to assess financial risks and opportunities.
• Review employee benefits programs for compliance with applicable regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other federal and state requirements.
• Evaluate opportunities for plan optimization, cost containment, vendor consolidation, and benefits strategy enhancements.
• Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations that clearly communicate findings and support informed business decisions.
• Partner with investors, attorneys, accountants, lenders, human resources leaders, and Scott production team members throughout the due diligence process to gather information, assess risk, and support transaction objectives.
• Support post-acquisition integration efforts, including benefits harmonization, vendor transitions, compliance considerations, and employee communication strategies.
