The Barings Corporate Finance & Operations Summer Internship is a 10-week program designed to give students meaningful exposure to the responsibilities of a full-time team member. Interns will contribute to real business priorities, develop foundational finance and investment knowledge, and build practical skills through technical training, networking, community initiatives, and firmwide learning opportunities. The program culminates in an intern-led, value-add project presentation, and top performers may be considered for full-time opportunities upon graduation.  

Internship opportunities may be available across teams including:
* Corporate Finance
* Financial Planning & Analysis
* Global Portfolio Delivery
* Pricing and Valuations
* Treasury
* ** Responsibilities:
**** Provide analytical support for projects and cross-functional initiatives.
* Apply accounting, finance, and investment concepts to business priorities.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and reporting.
* Support client, transaction, and portfolio reporting.
* Research asset, portfolio, fund, and corporate-level data.
* Build understanding of fund structures and investment team operations.
* Use approved technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance research, analysis, communication, and productivity while maintaining sound judgment and confidentiality.

* Qualifications:

**** Current junior graduating in spring 2028 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
* Accounting, finance, or related major preferred.
* Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Demonstrated curiosity and learning agility, including a willingness to learn and responsibly use AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support research, analysis, communication, collaboration, and productivity.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, transaction-focused team environment.
* Self-starter with strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to work effectively under deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
