GRT is a global proprietary digital asset trading firm providing institutional liquidity across leading centralized and decentralized venues. We trade our own capital across systematic and discretionary strategies, and partner with token issuers, protocols, foundations, exchanges, and institutional investors to support healthy market structure and sustainable ecosystem growth. We operate across proprietary trading, liquidity provisioning, prediction markets, OTC trading, and treasury solutions.

We are hiring a mid-level Trade Operations Specialist to work across custody, movement of funds, exchange and counter party relationships, and OTC settlement. You will work day to day with the trading desk, business development and finance, and act as an operational contact for clients and venues.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has done this job at a market maker before, knows how assets actually move across venues and custodians, and understands what goes wrong when they don't.

• Administer custody and wallet infrastructure across Fireblocks, Copper, exchange accounts and self-custody, including whitelisting, transaction policies, approval workflows and user access.
• Execute and approve on-chain and off-chain transfers accurately and under time pressure, in line with the firm's controls.

• Manage the daily movement of capital between exchanges, custodians, DeFi venues and counter parties to meet inventory, margin and collateral needs across the desk.
• Monitor balances, exposures and settlement queues; identify and resolve stuck, delayed or failed transfers.

• Manage operational relationships with centralized exchanges, DEX ecosystems and custody providers: account onboarding and KYB, API key management, fee tiers, limits, sub-account structures and escalation paths.
• Track venue changes (listings, delistings, network upgrades, maintenance windows) and communicate impact to the desk.

• Run OTC settlement end to end: confirm trade details, verify pre-funding, execute settlement and issue trade confirmations.
• Serve as a day-to-day operational contact for clients and counter parties on onboarding, settlement instructions and post-trade queries.

• Perform daily reconciliation of positions, balances and fees across venues and custodians; investigate and clear breaks.
• Maintain and improve operational procedures, controls and documentation; contribute to incident reviews.
• Support finance, compliance and audit with accurate records and reporting.
• Participate in the operations coverage rotation, including occasional out-of-hours support.

• Must have prior experience at a market maker

• Roughly 3 to 6 years in trading, settlement or treasury operations.
• In-depth working knowledge of centralized and decentralized exchanges, including account structures, withdrawal mechanics, network selection and common failure modes.
• Hands-on experience with institutional custody providers, and with Fireblocks and Copper specifically (transaction policies, whitelisting, approvals).
• Direct experience with OTC settlement: pre-funding, delivery-versus-payment style settlement, confirmations and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with DeFi operations: bridging, gas management, staking and liquidity pool mechanics.
• Experience supporting token issuer or treasury management clients.
• Confident, professional communication with clients and counter parties; comfortable being the operational face of the desk.
• Meticulous attention to detail and calm execution under pressure; you understand that operational errors with digital assets are often irreversible.
• Comfortable working remotely with a globally distributed team across time zones.

• Scripting or data skills (Python, SQL, advanced spreadsheets) for reconciliation and reporting automation.
• Exposure to compliance workflows around fund movements (Travel Rule, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring).
