Strategy Advisor
A growing independent financial advisory firm is seeking a Strategy Advisor to support its advisory team in Charlotte, NC. This role will manage relationships with existing clients, update financial plans, conduct client meetings and presentations, answer ongoing financial planning questions, and identify opportunities to expand services based on each client’s needs.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience within an RIA or financial services environment, holds a Series 65, CFP, or CFA, and excels at building trusted client relationships. This person will be highly organized, responsive, coachable, and motivated to grow within a collaborative, client-first advisory team.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 / annually, DOE
Responsibilities- Manage and strengthen relationships with an established portfolio of client households
- Support Lead Advisors with ongoing client service, financial planning, and relationship management
- Update financial plans and ensure client information, goals, and recommendations remain current
- Conduct client meetings and presentations, including annual in-person reviews and quarterly client updates
- Answer client questions promptly, provide ongoing support, and maintain consistent follow-through
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional investment, insurance, annuity, and financial planning solutions
- Collaborate closely with advisors, client service, operations, and new business teams to deliver a high-touch client experience
- 1+ years of experience within financial services, preferably with an RIA in a client service, advisory support, or similar role
- Active Series 65, CFP, or CFA required
- Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and client service skills
- High level of follow-through, organization, accountability, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new financial planning and CRM platforms
- Must be comfortable discussing and supporting a range of financial products, including annuities
- Must be willing to work fully onsite in the Charlotte office, Monday through Friday
