* Key Responsibilities:
** The Vice President will assume a leadership role in evaluating, executing, and managing private equity investments within the industrial sectors. Core responsibilities include:
* Investment Sourcing and Evaluation:
* Proactively identify and assess new investment opportunities within industrial sub-sectors. This involves conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and developing robust investment theses aligned with the firm's strategy.
* Due Diligence Leadership:
* Lead comprehensive due diligence efforts for potential investments. This encompasses detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, commercial and operational due diligence coordination, and risk assessment. The Vice President will manage external advisors and internal teams to ensure thorough analysis.
* Transaction Execution:
* Drive the execution of new investments, including structuring transactions, negotiating deal terms, and managing legal processes through to successful closing.
* Portfolio Management and Value Creation:
* Actively contribute to the strategic oversight and operational enhancement of existing portfolio companies. Work closely with management teams to identify and implement value creation initiatives, monitor performance, and prepare companies for successful exits.
* Team Leadership and Mentorship:
* Supervise and mentor junior investment professionals, providing guidance on financial analysis, research methodologies, and transaction processes. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
* Industry Expertise:
* Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of macro and micro trends impacting industrial sectors, including technological advancements, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics, to inform investment decisions and strategy.
