Licensed Hair Stylist​/Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Hair Stylist to join our professional salon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the beauty industry, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

• Valid cosmetology license
• 3–5 years of professional hairstyling experience preferred

• Commission-based pay plus gratuity
• Hourly rate when not doing services
• 1099 independent contractor position

• Provide professional haircutting, coloring, highlighting, and styling services
• Perform additional services (such as treatments or specialty styling) — highly encouraged
• Maintain a high standard of client care and service excellence
• Build and retain a loyal clientele
• Uphold salon professionalism, cleanliness, and brand standards
• Handle color and supply inventory
• Perform open and closing duties such as counting the registers and ensuring the salon is cleaned and handled

• Motivated and self‑directed
• Creative with a strong attention to detail
• Committed to continued professional education and growth
