Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Hair Stylist to join our professional salon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the beauty industry, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
Preferred Qualifications- Valid cosmetology license
- 3–5 years of professional hairstyling experience preferred
- Commission-based pay plus gratuity
- Hourly rate when not doing services
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Provide professional haircutting, coloring, highlighting, and styling services
- Perform additional services (such as treatments or specialty styling) — highly encouraged
- Maintain a high standard of client care and service excellence
- Build and retain a loyal clientele
- Uphold salon professionalism, cleanliness, and brand standards
- Handle color and supply inventory
- Perform open and closing duties such as counting the registers and ensuring the salon is cleaned and handled
- Motivated and self‑directed
- Creative with a strong attention to detail
- Committed to continued professional education and growth
