We are part of Atrium Health—leading community‑focused academic healthcare system serving North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. The Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute (SHVI) seeks an experienced full‑time Cardiology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high‑quality care to patients in the Charlotte community. This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be part of a specialized cardiology team covering the Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute at Carolinas Medical Center.

- Q3 weekend rotations
- No on‑call coverage
- Inpatient coverage; day shift only

- Minimum of two years of relevant cardiology or ICU experience. New graduates are not being considered.
- Preferable experience with mechanical support devices and invasive hemodynamic monitoring and management.
- Detail oriented, an effective communicator, and able to work independently.
- Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state where you work.
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
- Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required.
- Acute Care board certification required based on population and acuity served.
- Family Nurse Practitioners not considered.
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required;
Master’s Degree preferred. - Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
- Minimum of two years of relevant cardiology experience. New graduates not considered.
