Overview
As a member of the Compliance team, the Compliance Associate will collaborate with the team to ensure that CEENTA is operating in an ethically and legally compliant manner with all laws, rules, and regulations.
Responsibilities- Assist Compliance with examinations, reviews, audits, and investigations, including conducting routine administrative audits.
- Provide administrative support to Compliance staff.
- Maintain and organize all compliance records, files, and documentation.
- Prepare materials and responses for routine audits and regulatory reviews.
- Draft and transcribe correspondence as needed.
- Manage compliance review files, incident tracking databases, and related spreadsheets.
- Learn, administer, and enhance compliance applications (e.g., Fair Warning and other monitoring tools).
- Support employee education by helping develop clear, engaging compliance materials.
- Schedule Compliance training for new hires, interns, temporary workers, and consultants.
- Monitor and update federal and state regulatory databases.
- Manage patient dismissals and reporting.
- Triage patient concerns and facilitate resolutions.
- Aid Clinical Risk and Safety Manager with patient and employee injury administrative duties.
- Coordinate attorney records requests and scheduling depositions.
- Handle fulfilling medical records requests, as necessary.
- Process contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for signature and organization.
- Develop and refine compliance workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Represent CEENTA and the Compliance Department positively with staff and patients.
- Serve as back-up assistant to Chief Executive Officer.
- Strong Administrative capabilities and the ability to critically think and solve problems.
- Detail-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to multi-task.

Initial training of workflows will be provided by the Director of Compliance. Appropriate EHR training will be provided. Healthcare compliance resources and training will be provided.

Qualifications EducationAssociate degree is required; bachelor degree is preferred.
ExperienceA minimum of three years of experience working in healthcare, business, insurance, disability/personal injury law, or other professional environment performing the same or similar duties is required.

The employee will work closely with the Compliance department team.
SupervisionThis position reports to the Director of Compliance.
Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position with core business hours Mondays-Fridays. Hours are subject to variation based upon business needs. Quarterly meetings with the Compliance Committee are expected.
