• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required. 2‑Year / Associate Degree preferred. Certification Program in lieu of Associate Degree accepted. Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs is preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Two years of echocardiography experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Registered Cardiac Sonographer – credentials RDCS or RCS required. New graduates have 6 months to pass registry.

  Skills:
  
  Ability to complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing; knowledge and skills to modify care according to patient age; interpret information to identify patient requirements; strong verbal communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other department staff.

• Perform echocardiography studies and stress ECHO tests, recognizing, calculating, interpreting, and analyzing hemodynamic data.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other team members to communicate observations and input related to patient care.
• Support a safe patient environment in line with the "First Do No Harm" principles.
• Participate in team‑building, member engagement, and community involvement activities.
