Job Description

Addison Group is hiring a Medical Receptionist for our client in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC. This is a patient-facing role responsible for front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and thrives in a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced medical front desk role
  • Familiarity with HIPAA protocols and patient confidentiality
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate with a team
  • Experience with medical scheduling software (Next Gen preferred)
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients
  • Verify insurance and collect copays
  • Distribute and manage patient intake forms
  • Schedule follow-up visits and confirm appointments
  • Assist with voicemail callbacks and appointment reminders
  • Review physician schedules for accuracy
