** Description of Work
** We are seeking an experienced IDD Consultant to join our team, focusing on housing and community living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role is critical in advancing inclusive housing solutions and supporting policy development that aligns with best practices and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert on housing options and community living for individuals with IDD. Provide guidance on funding streams for housing, including those specific and nonspecific to IDD services.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to address barriers to community living.
Ensure compliance with the principles of Olmstead and promote integrated, community-based living opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders-including people with IDD, families, state agencies, providers, advocacy groups, and policymakers-to influence housing policy and program development.
Analyze and interpret regulations, policies, and funding mechanisms impacting housing for individuals with IDD.
Develop resources, training, and technical assistance to support housing initiatives.

Recruitment Range: $57,983 - $65,520

** Strong knowledge of IDD services and supports.
* Understanding of housing funding sources (e.g. HUD programs, state/local initiatives)
* Experience working with diverse stakeholders in policy development and implementation.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
** This position is funded in part through federal funds.
