Salary Grade Range: $39,435.00-$59,154.00

Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for accurate specimen data entry and tracking
  • Skilled in performing high‑volume specimen accessioning and labeling with consistent accuracy under time‑sensitive conditions
  • Experienced in applying standardized laboratory protocols for specimen evaluation and acceptance in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed specimen receipt and courier logs to support audit and quality assurance processes
  • Strong capability in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including laboratory units and healthcare providers, to resolve specimen discrepancies through effective communication

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

Physical Requirements

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negotiable amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time. This position involves repetitious tasks and tasks requiring manual dexterity.
