ACLS, BLS, RCIS or ARRT required

Must-Have:
Structural heart scrub experience is a must.
Do not screen candidates who do not have this experience.
Traveler experience is accepted; first-time travelers are welcome.
Local candidates accepted with rate difference.
Skills needed include scrub, monitor, PA lines, telemetry, structural heart, and TAVR experience.

Description:

The unit performs complex procedures in the lab including complex PCIs.
The expected start date is based on the schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability.
Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week.
They must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes.
Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.

Procedures expected to have experience with include:
Balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, and rotablader.

Preferred skills include circulating, IV start, conscious sedation, and ability to interpret rhythm.
Additional procedures that may be performed include Watchman procedures, septal closure, ablations, coil embolization, and filter placement.

Target ratios are 3 rooms.
The schedule is 4 x 10-hour days, Monday to Friday.
There is a requirement for callback and weekend call, approximately 9-11 days in a 6-week schedule, with 1-2 weekends depending on rotation.
Floating could be required but would be rare; if necessary, it may be to the electrophysiology unit.

Unit systems utilized include EPIC and MAC Lab.
Candidates must be comfortable with potential floating based on job description with no restrictions or special requests.
Two managerial or supervisor references from within the past 12 months are highly preferred at the time of submission.

Travel pairs are allowed but must be submitted for and work on different units.
Acknowledgment of flexibility to other locations, units, and shifts in the submission email is required.
Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week.
Modules required must be completed prior to starting work and annually thereafter.
