Description:

MRI Technologist position available in a busy department.
The facility has a total of 1,121 licensed beds and serves as a Level I Trauma and Pediatric Trauma center.
It is also a Teaching Hospital, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center.
The department averages 40-45 patients per day.
A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, and first-time travelers are welcome.
Patient types include adults and pediatrics from emergency departments, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients.
Candidates must possess the required licenses and certifications.
All departments have support structures including lead techs, modality supervisors, and Imaging Managers.
The team is diverse, with members ranging from new graduates to experienced professionals.
Technology includes EMR systems and Siemens 1.5T magnets.
There are no rotations between weekends and weekdays.
Travelers will maintain the same shift throughout the contract.
Call requirements will be fairly rotated among team members.
Holiday coverage is expected unless approved off in advance.
The departmental culture emphasizes good teamwork and high clinical skill sets.
