• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab
• Unit will accept first-time travelers

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
• At least one of the following: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

• Scrubbing and monitoring procedures
• PA Line placement and telemetry
• Structural heart procedures and TAVR experience
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring

• Balloon angioplasty
• PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
• Stenting
• Thrombectomy
• Impella insertion
• Left and Right heart catheterization
• Rotablator procedures

• Circulation of procedures
• IV Starts
• Conscious sedation
• Watchman Procedures
• Septal Closure
• Ablations
• Coil Embolization
• Filter Placement

The Cath Lab performs complex procedures including, but not limited to:

• Complex PCI
• Laser atherectomy
• Peripheral vascular interventions
• PFO/ASD closures
• EKOS procedures

Patient Ratios: 1:3 during daytime shifts (Monday - Friday)

Call required:
One day per week and one weekend per month, subject to fluctuation based on unit needs.

• 40-hour work weeks available
• Floating may be required but will be rare, primarily to the EP unit
• Unit has a patient holding area within the Cath Lab
