HowYou'll Contribute
- Under the supervision of a provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
- Maintains examination areas.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies — stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Completes other tasks, within scope of position, as delegated by the practice leads, supervisors, managers or Market Director.

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Previous medical experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is a 154‑bed acute hospital and includes 11 multi‑specialty clinics that have been offering exceptional care to the Haywood County community for over 97 years. The campus, located in Clyde, is also home to the 54,000 square foot Haywood Regional Health & Fitness Center and the 44,000 square foot Outpatient Care Center. HRMC also operates two urgent care centers in the county.
