We are looking for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Charlotte, NC. The right Rad Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. Rad Techs are also responsible for preparing and caring for patients undergoing radiologic testing.

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Follow from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physicians to review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS and ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Must have sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
