GF Hotels & Resorts has an amazing opportunity to join our Hilton Charlotte University Place as the Hotel General Manager. For the right person and background, this may be an Area General Manager's position. Full-service GM experience is required;

Our busy hotel requires a creative thinker who can introduce new ideas to increase revenue and establish customer relationships to encourage repeat business. You will not only lead our team, but you will also need to provide the best service to our guests.

Day-to-day duties will involve hiring new employees, training them, managing all hotel departments, and guaranteeing outstanding guest satisfaction. Our ideal candidate has 5 or more years of experience leading a hotel or hospitality team and is dedicated to providing our customers with a 5-star experience. Responsibilities
  • Generate a budget that ensures guest satisfaction and quality of services while also keeping costs balanced and profit margins maximized
  • Devise the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's rooms, public areas, and grounds in order to cultivate a reputation for quality
  • Collaborate with hotel department leaders to define goals and objectives that are compatible with the overall hotel goals, as well as strategies for achieving them
  • Empower hotel staff to excel in superior guest service to drive financial success through strong leadership and creative operational strategies
  • Spearhead and develop an effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel services and other offerings
Qualifications
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred
  • Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required
  • Must have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required
  • Full service, big box GM experience is required
