Job Description Bistro Attendant
Department:
Food & Beverage
Reports To:
Assistant General Manager
PT - 2 shifts per week. All evenings 4:30pm-10:30pm.

JobOverview:
The Bistro Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in the hotel’s Bistro. This role involves a variety of duties, including food and beverage service, guest assistance, and maintaining the overall ambiance of the Bistro area.
ResponsibilitiesGuest Service:
- o Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- o Anticipate and address guest needs, offering personalized service.
- o Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations.
- o Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.
Food and Beverage Service:
- o Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
- o Stock and maintain the lounge with appropriate supplies.
- o Ensure proper food presentation and temperature control.
- o Clean and sanitize work areas regularly.
Bistro Maintenance:
- o Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Bistro.
- o Restock supplies as needed.
- o Monitor the lounge environment, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
- o Address any maintenance issues promptly.
Administrative Tasks:
- o Complete daily checklists and reports.
- o Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.
- o Assist with inventory control and ordering.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Food Handler’s Certification (if required by local regulations).
