Community Concierge Services - Human Resources Director
The Human Resources Director will lead our internal HR team and perform various strategic functions required to support the business. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Community Concierge Services ("CCS") is a fast growing, founder-led company providing essential services to multifamily communities nationwide.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Graduate level degree is a plus).
- 5–7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Experience in HR over a blue‑collar service, logistics, waste management and collection, construction, or similar operational environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in workers' compensation claims management and implementation of cost reduction measures.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety compliance.
- Experience managing HR and human capital in a multi‑site / multi‑state environment.
- Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance from a federal and multi‑state perspective.
- Experience leading an HR team.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP certification (or alike credential) is a plus.
- Available on weekends and after hours in the event of HR emergencies.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
- Implement scalable HR systems and processes that support our business through high periods of growth.
- Reduce and mitigate risk through strategic management of claims including workers compensation, OSHA, and DOL claims, among others.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders including ADP, legal counsel, and other third‑party vendors.
- Oversee and adopt risk management policies.
- Responsible for payroll and benefits processes for both full‑time and part‑time employees.
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, risk management, and organizational development.
- Build scalable HR infrastructure to support multi‑location operations.
- Lead and mentor the HR team (recruiting, HR generalists, payroll, safety, risk management, etc.).
- Oversee all workers' compensation claims management, including investigation, reporting, return‑to‑work programs, and cost containment.
- Partner with insurance brokers, payroll providers, and legal counsel to manage claims and reduce exposure.
- Implement proactive injury prevention and safety programs.
- Analyze claims trends and implement corrective measures to reduce frequency and severity.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and state‑specific labor regulations.
- Lead safety training initiatives across field operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, DOT where applicable).
- Maintain and update employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Manage audits, reporting, and regulatory filings.
- Oversee unemployment claims and employment‑related litigation matters.
- Develop recruiting strategies for high‑volume, hourly, field‑based roles.
- Improve onboarding processes to reduce turnover and improve engagement.
- Implement retention initiatives tailored to blue‑collar service employees.
- Oversee workforce planning to support rapid growth and seasonal demands.
- Lead investigations and resolution of employee relations matters.
- Coach managers on performance management and disciplinary procedures.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
- Support leadership development and succession planning.
- Oversee benefits administration and broker relationships.
- Evaluate and manage health, disability, and insurance programs.
- Ensure payroll processes are compliant and accurate.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking for part time hourly and full‑time/management roles.
- Develop and manage safety programs specific to waste, hauling, and service operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits across sites.
- Implement return‑to‑work and modified duty programs.
- Partner with Operations leadership to align HR strategy with field execution.

This role is hybrid but requires availability up to five (5) days in office per week as needed.
The starting base salary for this role is $75,000 dependent on experience and certifications (additional paid benefits and performance‑based bonus offered).
