The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace. RolePurpose
The HR Coordinator provides day-to-day operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role serves as a key partner to the HR team, supporting HR programs, cyclical processes, onboarding, and HR systems while ensuring a positive employee experience and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS entries for job information adds or changes
- Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements
- Support payroll by maintaining accurate employee data and processing changes in the time and attendance system
- Support HR team with reporting (e.g. query, run reports, sort data and analyze results)
- Assist with cyclical processes and requested reporting
- Support global HR team members with US processes and employees
- Assist with employee HR queries, escalating complex issues where appropriate
- Support managers with basic HR guidance in line with company policies and procedures
- Assist with absence management
- Recommend and implement opportunities for standardization and process improvements to reduce administrative complexity and cost
- At least 3 years of combined HR/Admin experience (generalist/specialist) or equivalent
- Strong organization skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets
- Prior experience supporting Human Resources functions or working within an HR organization
- Experience with SAP Success Factors or other HRIS platforms
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or HR certifications

The range for this position is $51,491.00-$70,801.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
