Your Role

As our HR Generalist, your job will mostly be about full-cycle recruiting with additional HR responsibilities. You’ll:

  • Post jobs online to help us find new employees. When opportunities come up at Morris-Jenkins, you’ll be the one listing them for applicants.
  • Screen candidates on the phone, schedule interviews, and extend offers. You’re gonna be part of the full lifecycle of recruiting!
  • Lead new hire orientation. You’ll be the one who makes the first-day experience one to remember! You’ll make sure new hires have all the information they need to start their career the right way.
  • Process administrative work. From handling disability claims to helping people with UKG (our payroll program), you’ll handle a lot of the HR-side of things around here!

The Super-Fun HR Stuff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in a Recruiting/HR Generalist role
  • Strong knowledge in the following areas of HR: benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, FMLA, STD/LTD administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Highly organized with strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to effectively summarize and present information with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to self-direct and prioritize goals
  • Alignment & commitment to company values (honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect)
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional years of experience in an Recruiting, HR Generalist and/or Manager role
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
