- Ensures accurate and timely administration of benefits programs, which directly impacts employee satisfaction, retention, and well‑being across a high‑volume, hourly workforce.
- Provides critical support during peak periods (e.g., open enrollment, audits, vendor transitions) to maintain seamless operations and reduce risk of compliance issues.
- Serves as a key point of contact for employees with benefits‑related questions, helping to build trust and improve the employee experience in a population that often needs clear, accessible guidance.
- Assists with data integrity and reporting, ensuring benefits records are complete, accurate, and aligned with payroll and HR systems, crucial in a complex, distributed workforce.
- Supports the Total Rewards team in evaluating and improving benefit offerings by gathering feedback, monitoring usage trends, and coordinating with vendors.
- Prior experience administering employee benefits (health, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.) in a high‑volume, hourly or distributed workforce environment.
- Working knowledge of benefits compliance requirements, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Proficiency in 401K administration.
- Demonstrated experience managing LOA program for a large employee base.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits platforms (Workday and UKG preferred) with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly to a diverse employee population.
- Proven ability to manage time‑sensitive tasks independently and thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
