This is a strategic role and specifically designed for a dynamic individual ready to collaborate with sales, product, and delivery leaders, as well as engage directly with our prospects and customers. Your mission is to elevate our product outlook, enhance our delivery posture, boost company recognition, and drive pivotal sales and delivery outcomes.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities- Sales Excellence and Support:
Champion sales efforts through deal qualification, crafting and responding to RFPs, conducting persuasive demos, and providing expert guidance on the product. Actively contribute to product marketing efforts and publications to underscore our leadership and innovation in the field. - Strategic Partnership:
Forge deep technical and strategic relationships with key customers and internal teams to foster long‑term loyalty and engagement. - Innovation and Product Enhancement:
Collaborate with Marketing and Technology teams to spearhead product innovations tailored to customer needs, ensuring Paymentus remains at the cutting edge of technology. - Customer Insight and Engagement:
Establish strong rapport with potential and existing customers to uncover and address service requirements, leveraging these insights to drive product and service improvements. - Technical Expertise and Support:
Offer in‑depth technical knowledge and support, guiding cost‑benefit analyses for enhancements and advocating for operational efficiencies. - Contracting and Sales Cycle Management:
Facilitate contracting processes, including the drafting of contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives. Manage a disciplined sales cycle within our CRM system, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. - Customer Success & Partnerships:
Empower customer success and partner teams through targeted technical information and training, enhancing their understanding and utilization of our solutions.
- Minimum 4‑5 Years of Sales Engineer experience
- Strong background working with APIs
- Able to work in fast‑paced, self‑directed entrepreneurial environment
- Able to present a technology solution
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
