Pay Range: $75 - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership: Design and architect large-scale data-driven solutions using Hadoop/Big Data technologies, SQL, Python, and PySpark, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.

Reporting & BI Solutions: Provide oversight on the design and implementation of reporting solutions using Axiom or other BI reporting tools, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.

Technology Strategy: Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and frameworks for data management, reporting, and automation within the organization.

UI & Automation Oversight: Lead the strategy for UI development and automation tools, ensuring that React

JS and other front-end technologies are leveraged effectively in production environments.

Production & Operations: Work closely with the operations and production teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions, while overseeing their performance and scalability.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.

Mentorship & Guidance: Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams, ensuring alignment with the overall technical vision.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Big Data: Expertise in Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, and PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.

SQL: Strong knowledge of relational databases and experience in designing efficient and optimized SQL queries.

Python/PySpark: In-depth understanding of Python and PySpark for data processing and orchestration, though hands-on coding will not be required.

BI Reporting Tools: Experience with Axiom or any similar BI reporting tool for designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence reporting solutions.

UI & Automation: Familiarity with React

JS for UI design and overseeing automation in production systems.

Operations & Production: Oversight of deployment processes, monitoring, and production environments to ensure optimal performance.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on Big Data, reporting, and front-end technologies.

Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving architecture and design for complex systems.

Architecture Expertise: Strong understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and best practices in Big Data, BI reporting, and UI technologies.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and devise effective architectural solutions while aligning with business goals.
