Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to serve as the technical authority for a major end‑to‑end digital transformation program. This role will provide architectural leadership and hands‑on guidance to three delivery teams consisting of Pega UI developers and Pega integration engineers.

Impact of the Role

This role sits at the heart of the transformation initiative—ensuring that people, processes, and technology converge into a scalable, future‑ready Pega ecosystem. By combining architectural vision, technical leadership, and hands‑on expertise, the Pega LSA plays a critical role in enabling enterprise modernization and sustained digital excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Pega applications, including case management, workflows, integrations, and UI frameworks.
  • Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional/technical design, product configuration, testing, and production deployment, ensuring alignment with Pega LSA role expectations.
  • Architect scalable and secure Pega solutions that adhere to guardrails, best practices, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging systems, file listeners, and other Pega integration capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership across three agile delivery teams, guiding solutioning, implementation approaches, and code quality.
  • Conduct code reviews, architectural assessments, and quality assurance checkpoints to ensure solutions meet performance, security, and maintainability standards.
  • Mentor junior and senior system architects, elevating expertise in Pega Infinity, Constellation UI, and modern integration patterns.
  • Support Scrum ceremonies and help teams break down features into technical tasks.
  • Partner with business analysts, product owners, and enterprise architects to translate complex business requirements into feasible Pega designs.
  • Lead performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting across Pega environments.
  • Support deployment planning, CI/CD pipeline enhancements, cloud architecture discussions, and operational readiness activities.
  • Promote automation, standardization, and reusable component creation to accelerate delivery across teams.
  • Provide ongoing technical governance across multiple projects at a single client.
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) is required.
  • 10+ years of Pega engineering experience, with at least 4–6 years in architecture and technical leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in Pega Infinity, case types, data modeling, rulesets, UI frameworks (Constellation), and systems integration.
  • Proven experience guiding multi‑team Pega delivery initiatives, including solution design, code reviews, and architectural governance.
  • Strong understanding of system integration patterns, Dev Ops principles (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud infrastructure), and API‑based communication.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience deploying Pega solutions in hybrid or cloud‑native environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Exposure to Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH), Pega Marketing, or advanced decisioning frameworks.
  • Background in insurance, financial services, or large‑scale modernization programs.
  • Familiarity with Angular or front‑end frameworks integrated using Pega DX APIs.
