Outstanding contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a Technical Writer in Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis MN (hybrid).
For this role, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer with strong IT knowledge and ideally, AI experience. This is a highly collaborative team and to be successful in this role, you should be able to work with business and technology teams to deliver clear documentation.
Contract Duration
: 12+ Months
Develop IT system documentation for diverse audiences.
Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
Identify documentation gaps and proactively address them.
Create process maps and workflow visualizations.
Implement version control, maintain consistency across multiple projects.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical writing experience in IT domain
Authored 100+ high-impact articles through effective collaboration with product teams and software developers
Optimized 200+ underperforming articles, significantly increasing user engagement metrics, and reducing support queries
Detail-oriented, strong communication, professional questioning
Able to multitask, set priorities, work independently
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Copilot, process mapping, version control
Collaborative mindset
Familiarity with upskilling/reskilling documentation
Knowledge of regulatory requirements
Confluence/SharePoint experience
AI proficiency (bonus)
