Senior Data Management Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Data Management Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Data Management Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Data Management department supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring the integrity and quality of critical data assets. Job Title: Senior Data Management Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

• Support advanced metadata analysis, data quality controls, and automation initiatives within the organization’s data management framework.
• Own complex, in‑flight work related to metadata harvesting, lineage development, and root cause analysis of data defects.
• Leverage technical skills in Python, SQL, automation, and APIs to redesign and automate data management controls.
• Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to establish standards, policies, and best practices for data flow and access.
• Provide strategic insights and expertise to senior leadership on innovative data management solutions and long‑term strategies.

• 7+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, automation, and APIs with a solid understanding of data risk and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and senior leadership.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions for highly complex business and technical needs.
