Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Data Management Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Data Management Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Data Management department supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring the integrity and quality of critical data assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem‑solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Senior Data Management Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
What's the Job?- Support advanced metadata analysis, data quality controls, and automation initiatives within the organization’s data management framework.
- Own complex, in‑flight work related to metadata harvesting, lineage development, and root cause analysis of data defects.
- Leverage technical skills in Python, SQL, automation, and APIs to redesign and automate data management controls.
- Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to establish standards, policies, and best practices for data flow and access.
- Provide strategic insights and expertise to senior leadership on innovative data management solutions and long‑term strategies.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, automation, and APIs with a solid understanding of data risk and controls.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and senior leadership.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions for highly complex business and technical needs.
