Job Description & How to Apply Below
We’re hiring a Software Engineer to join a fast-growing, in-house technology team supporting a national financial services organization. This role is ideal for a sharp, high-upside engineer early in their career who wants exposure to real production systems, modern frameworks, and a culture that actively promotes internal growth.
You’ll report directly into senior technology leadership and work alongside a collaborative team of engineers building proprietary platforms used across the business.
What You’ll Be Working On- Build and enhance full-stack applications, including internal business systems and customer-facing platforms
- Write clean, scalable, testable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability
- Work primarily in Angular (17+), with some exposure to legacy Angular
JS applications - Contribute to modernization efforts as older systems are upgraded
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions end-to-end
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing across the team
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tooling, and system architecture
- In-house engineering team (15–20 people) — minimal outsourcing
- Truly collegiate culture: collaborative, respectful, and team-oriented
- Agile, pragmatic development style — engineers are close to the business problems they’re solving
- Strong track record of promoting junior engineers into leadership roles over time
- Professional but relaxed atmosphere (business-casual / golf attire is the norm)
- 1–3 years of professional software development experience
- Strong foundation in C# / .NET
- Solid understanding of software fundamentals (data structures, APIs, version control, testing)
- Clear communicator who enjoys collaboration and feedback
- Curious, coachable, and motivated to grow technically and professionally
- High visibility role with real ownership early in your career
- Exposure to both modern and legacy systems, accelerating your learning curve
- Leadership team known for developing talent internally
- Performance-based bonus tied to company growth (paid out consistently in recent years, though not guaranteed)
- Hybrid schedule with minimal onsite requirement
