Lead Data Analyst – Charlotte, NC

Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America seeks a Lead Data Analyst to work from our office in Charlotte, NC. The role involves reviewing and approving complex analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets to identify market sector trends and customer patterns. You will lead the examination of data patterns and trends that answer business questions and improve decision‑making, oversee collection and extraction of key data, and ensure data quality meets the organization’s information system needs and requirements.

• Analyze and review trends from modeling to inform product development and marketing decisions.
• Oversee data mining models, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify key customer segments and simulate the impact of potential business decisions.
• Develop and present detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries.
• Partner with other areas of the business to model outcomes of implementing potential business strategies.
• Manage large, complex projects or processes with limited oversight while working with team members to ensure accurate findings and results.
• Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or a related field and three (3) years of experience as a Lead Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or a related occupation.
• OR a Master’s degree in an accepted field and one (1) year of experience as a Lead Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or a related occupation.

Base salary for this position is at least $105,747 per year. The official salary range is $115,000–$146,000 per year. Additional compensation may include incentive programs linked to performance.
