Our client, a leading organization in the technology and artificial intelligence sector, is seeking a Cognitive Linguist to join their innovative team. As a Cognitive Linguist you will be part of the AI Development Department supporting the Virtual Assistant Development Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cognitive Linguis

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

• Build and maintain models for conversational AI virtual assistants to accurately identify end-user intent.
• Automate updates to classifiers throughout development cycles to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop algorithms and datasets, train machine learning models, and deploy them into production environments.
• Research and experiment with emerging machine learning algorithms to enhance intent recognition capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists, UX researchers, and engineering teams to develop the core intelligence of virtual assistants.

• Proficiency in Python and predictive modeling techniques.
• Experience with natural language processing and conversational interface development.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms for data classification, including linear SVM.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
