Data Management Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join their team. As a Data Management Analyst, you will be part of the Data Governance team supporting enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Data Management Analyst

Charlotte, North Carolina

• Support data governance initiatives, including data standards, policies, controls, and documentation across enterprise data assets
• Develop and maintain data lineage and metadata to ensure transparency and traceability from source to consumption
• Partner with product owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment
• Analyze and work with large, complex data sets across multiple platforms and systems
• Assist with defining and documenting data requirements, data flows, and data dependencies

• 5+ years of experience in data management, data analysis, or data governance roles
• Strong experience working with large data sets (big data platforms, enterprise data warehouses, or data lakes)
• Hands‑on experience with data governance concepts, including data lineage, metadata, and data quality
• Working knowledge of Agile product delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
• Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements and documentation
